Restorative Yoga is a series of powerful yet, fully supported, passive yoga poses designed to help the body rejuvenate and strengthen itself. By supporting the body with props, we alternately stimulate and relax the body to move toward balance. In general, restorative poses are for those times when you feel weak, fatigued, or stressed from your on-going daily activities.

Aromatherapy is using essential oils from plants, flowers, trees and herbs to achieve health, vitality and rejuvenation of the body, mind and spirit. Essential oils or pure essences or as I like to call them “soul of the plants” are used for relief of pain, alleviate tension and fatigue and invigorate the entire body, reduce anxiety and promote relaxation.

The antidote to stress is relaxation.
To relax is to rest deeply. Relaxation is a state in which there is no movement, no effort, and the mind and body is quiet and centered.

With all this in mind, I developed a restorative yoga workshop with aromatherapy for a complete relaxation experience. The aim of the workshop is total relaxation while opening hips, pelvic and back and letting the essential oils do their work on your body. You are totally supported, moved and pampered by me all this while. Throughout the class, there is hardly any work that you are required to do. The workshop ends in a long savasana (resting pose) and a healing meditation where you are still resting or lying down.

I give very individual attention, care and time to each stressed out body and soul. The atmosphere is very safe and nurturing. It takes lots of energy, commitment and awareness on my part to make each experience very comfortable, but people love me and thank me almost daily for these sessions no matter how many times they had come - thanks to the Goddess for guiding me.

NO prior yoga experience is required.

I offer restorative yoga in private sessions and as group workshops on a regular basis.
